AP Summer Institute

About the Program

The AP Summer Institute (APSI) at the University of Iowa provides week-long intensive training for current and prospective Advanced Placement teachers. Sessions are led by College Board-endorsed consultants and are designed to help teachers develop the skills and confidence they need to lead successful AP courses.

Summer 2026 Sessions

APSI offers both on-campus and online sessions throughout the summer. Specific course offerings and dates are announced in the spring.
